Who Can Get an E-7 Visa?
Not everyone who wants to work in Korea qualifies for an E-7 visa.
Eligibility depends on the specific E-7 occupation and immigration requirements.
The following factors are particularly important:
Education
University, college, technical institute, vocational education, degree, diploma, and major.
Work Experience
Actual employment history in a relevant field.
Technical Skills
For example, welding, CNC, MCT, machinery, electrical work, mold and die, injection molding, press operations, and other relevant skills.
Job in Korea
The candidate’s qualifications and experience should appropriately correspond with the work he or she will perform for the Korean employer.
Salary
The employment contract must satisfy the applicable salary requirements for the relevant E-7 category.
Korean Employer
The Korean company must also satisfy the applicable requirements to employ the foreign worker under E-7 status.
Therefore, successful E-7 visa application requires three elements:
1. Qualified Foreign Worker2. Eligible Korean Employer3. E-7 Eligible Job Position
All three must match.
